Therapy for high-functioning adults dealing with anxiety and burnout

Online Throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Vermont

Hi, I’m Jen Boyer

I’m a licensed mental health therapist working online with adults across Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Vermont.

I started my practice in substance use and addiction counseling before transitioning my primary focus to general mental health. These days, I specialize in helping clients navigate anxiety, burnout, and relationship challenges.

Here’s the part most therapists leave off the website:

I’ve been there, I’ve done that, and I know how to help.

The anxiety, the over-functioning, the codependent patterns that look like being a great employee or a great partner until they aren’t. I worked through my own version of it, and that work is what taught me what actually moves the needle.

My presence is calm and steady. I’m also real, direct, and focused on helping you move forward. I’m not here to just nod and listen.

You’re Barely Hanging On

The day hasn’t started and you’re already behind.

Second coffee, three emails drafted before you’re out of the driveway, the meeting in an hour you’ve already pre-played twice in your head.

From the outside, you look like you have it all handled. Capable. Steady. The person everyone else leans on.

On the inside, though, you feel exhausted.

Pushing Through Stopped Working

You’re the master of pushing through. It worked – for quite a while. Now? You’re beyond burned out.

It’s isolating, living this way while having to keep up the performance. You’re having a harder time trusting yourself. The more you push, the less in tune you are with what you really want and how you actually feel.

Even if you could slow down, you don’t know how.

You’ve Tried to Fix It on Your Own

You’ve read the right books.

You’ve downloaded the apps.

You journal sometimes.

But the relief is always temporary.

The anxious thoughts return in force.

Your sleep stays broken.

The pressure is still there, building more each day, and you suspect that you’re close to your breaking point.

Self-help tools only go so far. You need a genuine solution that will help you do more than just survive the daily blitz of your life.

The Lasting Relief You’re Searching For

You’re here because you’re looking for the answer.

Not a temporary “fix.” Genuine, lasting relief. I help my clients find calm, clarity, and control in the intensity of daily life.

1.

You’ll get tools you can use the same night you learn them.

We’ll look at the patterns underneath the anxiety: the thinking habits, the tension you’re chronically holding onto, the things you keep saying yes to that you wish you hadn’t. We work with what’s actually driving it, not just what it feels like on the surface.

2.

I lean on an array of powerful tools – from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and positive psychology to concrete coping skills and somatic techniques.

In plain English: we look at patterns, shift what’s not working, and build on what is. You’ll leave each session with a sense of relief and clarity about what you’re changing.

Yes, You Can Feel Better

I know you’re dealing with a lot. Too much. You’re at the center of everything you’re experiencing. When you focus on what you can control and build out from there, huge transformations happen. Your days can go from frenzied to flowing. All you need to do is reach out.

I’ll guide you from there.

This is your escape from overwhelm. The first step is simple: Reach out to me for a free 15-minute consultation. We’ll talk through what’s going on and see whether working together feels like a fit.

No pressure, no commitment.
